RIPPY: New Single "Crash My Whip"

South Korea - Vegas based artist, Min Jae Lee, Aka RIPPY has stepped his game up and dropped a new single worth every stream!

His new post-breakup single "Crash My Whip" is one of his best tracks to date and we got the chance to link up with RIPPY and learn a bit more about the track and his music journey.

Born in Masan City, South Korea, and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, RIPPY started freestyling at the age of 12 and later moved himself to Las Vegas at the age of 17 to start his music career.

The now 20-year-old has toured in Canada and worked with other great artists such as Christian Kuya, Trippa Fien, Scotty Chickens, Zelly Vibes, Ninety6miles, and Aylek$.

"I take a lot of inspiration from my friends and music peers and like to create music that reflects my life and my experiences."

Recently, RIPPY went through a tumultuous relationship that brought us great tracks such as "i hate me too" and now "Crash My Whip," which ultimately ended in a breakup.

"I wrote this song after a breakup while I was feeling overwhelmed with different emotions. It was a way for me to express how I felt and showcase what I was going through"

He continued...

"I also wrote this for my listeners that have gone through something like this, hopefully, it articulated how they felt or feel at the moment."

Besides RIPPY dropping some great tracks, he really cares about his audience and listeners and doesn't just see them as streams.

"I’m accepting of everyone no matter their story or shit like that. If my music helps them or gives them something to sing along to in the car, I’m pretty fucking happy."

RIPPY's new single "Crash My Whip" is a great high-energy track and the story behind it just hypes it up even more.

RIPPY is set to drop his debut album in September, but for now "Crash My Whip" is available on all streaming platforms.
